The Coalescence of Thought (Signed Print)
How do thoughts form? How do signals of electricity zipping along paths between neurons emerge into that which we consider coherent ideas, analyses, or awareness of ourselves and the environments in which we live? These aren't questions for the fainthearted, as they provoke us to examine the process of examination. By definition, doing so throws us into the tumults of recursion and self-referentiality. It's a topic that feels loopy and goopy; like trying to weave veiny bridges over quagmires of self-doubt. There is no terra firma upon which we can stand here, except, maybe, for the very notion of oddity itself.
